OUR VISION: An engaged and unified community that explores and embraces Pilipin@/Pilipin@ American identities, fosters personal and collective growth through relevant education, advocates for social justice in coalition with other communities, and creates a sense of family within and beyond the university.
WORKING MISSION STATEMENT 2007-2008: Samahang Pilipino: 1) educates, organizes, and advocates for the Pilipin@/Pilipin@ American community on and off campus; 2) is an inclusive and open environment that promotes diversity through relevant education to cultivate personal and collective identity/growth; 3) works to create a sense of family and appreciation for all cultures as we create progressive social change.

Hey Everyone!

We hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and that school is not too bad yet.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to Pilipino Scholars' Day!

In other exciting news: nominations for two Samahang Pilipino Board positions are open!
At this week's GM we will be voting on the positions of Pinays Coordinator and Kabalikat Coordinator. For more information, send an e-mail Samahang's way, refer to the constitution, or talk to/message any board member.

Please come out to our General Meeting, this Friday, January 25, 2008, the same room as the first general meeting! It's going to be exciting!
