New Pilipino Studies Concentration!!

May 1, 2009

Recently, Samahang Pilipino learned the results of the Asian American Studies Department's vote on the Pilipino Studies Concentration. With a vote of 12 for, 0 against, and 0 abstaining, the concentration passed. :]

We are proud of everyone who helped make this concentration possible and excited about what this means for us in the future. Being the first group to receive a concentration under the AAS major, we hope we can act as a model for other communities to receive a concentration of their own.

Once again, we appreciate all the support and look forward to seeing this fully implemented as soon as possible!
