Letter from the Script Co-Director:
Hello everyone, and thank you for your interest in Script!
I'm really excited for this year's script, and I hope you all will see why. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but it'll be a process that will have amazing results.
Just some logistical stuff. YAY!
The following packet holds an application for you to fill out as well as several monologues to prepare for the audition.
First: please fill the application as thoroughly as possible. What we know about you will help us immensely.
Secondly: Please pick an appropriate monologue to perform. We prefer that you memorize your piece, but if you can't, it's totally fine. We won't stone you. :)
Be prepared for a few questions, and other tasks that I, or other people in the casting committee, will ask of you during your audition.
Lastly! If you are comfortable singing, please prepare a song (with or without accompaniment) that showcases your voice. We'll be looking for actors that sing! If you don't want to sing, no worries, just let us know, and we'll note it on your application. It will NOT affect your chances of getting a role (don't freak out). We have plenty of non-singing roles.
Please be prepared for the audition. It'll make the process a lot quicker, and be able to give others the opportunity to audition as well.
Alright. So now that you've gotten the gist of what auditions will look like, I hope to see all of you during the audition times.
Auditions are:
Tuesday from 8-10 pm.
Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
Thursday from 12-2, 4-6 pm
Friday by appt or possible callbacks if necessary.
Times may change. Announcement will be made if this is so.
Location: TBD. Please keep updated.
Please SCHEDULE an appointment for your audition from the following times. Email spcn@samahang.org and CC to angelica.bato@gmail.com by Monday the 21st at 11 pm. If you do not email us by then, we will only be able to give you time slots that are available.
